Meet the Team

  • Hello and welcome,

I want to begin by acknowledging the incredible courage it takes to reach out for support. Taking that first step — whether it’s a phone call or an email — is not easy, and it shows the strength and determination that already live within you.

At Resilient Roots Recovery (RRR), you’re not just entering a program — you’re joining a community that understands where you’ve been and believes deeply in where you’re going.

My name is Michelle Good, and I’m the Operator of Resilient Roots Recovery. I was raised in a culture where addiction was a part of everyday life, and over the years I have supported many individuals and families impacted by substance use. These personal and professional experiences have given me a deep understanding of the challenges that come with recovery — and the hope, strength, and transformation that are possible.

I believe in combining real-life understanding with professional integrity and accountability. I am a registered member in good standing with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC), and you can verify my credentials directly through their website.

At RRR, our approach is personal, respectful, and grounded in authenticity. We walk beside you — never ahead of you — as you rebuild trust, stability, and a sense of belonging. You are not alone in this journey; you are supported by people who truly get it and are committed to helping you succeed.

Welcome to a place where healing begins with connection, and where every woman is met with dignity, compassion, and respect.

    Warm regards,
    Michelle Good
    Operator, Resilient Roots Recovery (RRR)

  • House Manager

My lived experience with addiction and Recovery has profoundly shaped my understanding of recovery and uniquely qualifies me for the role of Second-Stage Recovery House Manager. Along with my Lived Experience, I have Certification in Addiction Care and Treatment through UBC. Having navigated the challenges of substance use and mental health recovery myself, I bring a deep empathy and insight into the struggles residents face, for I have been there myself . I have been there and I know what it feels like to feel lost and without direction ,  having to re learn life skills lost to substance abuse harms and make a life for myself . I bring a message of hope that you too can develop the life skills to live the life you have always dreamed of ! It’s not going to be easy but anything worth it seldom is !
